John, I looked and there it is behind the fusebus just like you said. Looks like I have to remove the fusebus to get to it. Why could they have not used one of the spare spots on the bus itself. Perhaps a good idea to disconnect the battery. For general information a deep 12 point socket 1 1/8 inch was required to remove the sensorswitch on the radiator. available at sears for 8 bucks. still another socket to add to the collection of least used tools. Going for the relay right now. thanks gary --- lauterba <lauterba@bellsouth.net> wrote: > Gary, mine is hanging in the nest of wires that is > above the fuse block and > below the headlight switch. > > John > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "gary hradek" <hradek@yahoo.com> > To: "lauterba" <lauterba@bellsouth.net> > Sent: Sunday, October 19, 2003 2:01 PM > Subject: Re: radiator fan relay > > > > John, > > I have bentley so I will give it a look. > Just > > wanted to know a location of the relay since I > bought > > one from busdepot. thanks gary > > --- lauterba <lauterba@bellsouth.net> wrote: > > > Gary, at least on my '84, low speed fan comes on > as > > > soon as A/C compressor > > > is on.
