There are only 2 rotors used in North American models of 2wd Vanagon. Here are the model year ranges. 80-85, paired with an opposed dual piston caliper setup. (diesel and gasoline are the same) 86-91, paired with a floating single piston caliper.

They are not interchangeable. The diameter, thickness, and offset are all different. Since they are not yet mounted, a simple way to check which rotor you have is by diameter.

80-85, nearly 11". 86-91, just over 10".
