  a group 41 will fit in a westy but its way tight and removal is a nightmare.. the 42 is a better choice.

  Thanks, Chris.  But in that case, I'll continue to use group 41.  I don't find removal a problem (my batteries have lifting straps) and I like having that little bit more oomph .... especially with these northern Maine winters.
