Hmm, the Carat 2's that are on my TriStar have the REGULAR alloy cap on them...which is the wrong cap. The Regular Alloy caps have small (1/4 inch) tabs. The correct caps (which I have on my Rhein Alloys) look very similar but are just a hair larger and have much more noticable tabs (about 1 full inch each).

Perhaps you too have the wrong caps. Ken Wilfy was trying to order the correct ones, but I don't know what his status is.
