In Germany: All gasoline Vanagons: No resistor (one relais in fusebox) EXCEPT 2,1 with A/C: One piece ceramic resistor (251 971 284H, three pin connectors) and 400(?) Watt fan, two relais... 1,9 with A/C donīt have the resistor, only one relais in the fusebox. Non-turbo Diesels the same: No resistor, one relais in fusebox. ALL Turbo-Diesels WITHOUT A/C: two-piece ceramic resistor 251 971 284E, two -pin connectors, 450(?) watt fan, one big relais mounted on A-pillar. Turbo Diesels with A/C: two-piece ceramic resistor 251 971 284H, three pin connectors. 500Watt fan, two relais. This is the equipment for 2WDs. I donīt know the exact constellation for 4WDs, perhaps Harald knows?
