Honda stuck to its guns for the US market, refusing to drop the Prelude badges just because the name was already used there for a tampon, contraceptive or something along those lines (though as to Why Honda sells some of its cars there as "Acura", go figure). Some other stupid and/or inappropriate names: Mitsubishi Chariot Thanks (no thanks!)
