I ran the power for my Hella XL's directly from the main fuse block in my '87 Camper. My camper has no factory options that draw power (except the radio) from the front fuse block, so I felt comfortable adding this circuit directly to the 'P' terminal on the fuse block. I also found that the difference in voltage potential between the (+) battery terminal post and the 'P' terminal on the fuse block was small enough that adding a homerun to the battery was unnecessary. If you install the Hella XL's, you won't need to install the high wattage bulbs, they work so well that you won't notice if the regular headlights are on or off. I would recommend installing the relay to remove the low beam current from the headlight switch and keep it from melting. ===== TJ Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition Winter Park, Florida http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolfsburg_campers http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink [Vanagon] Album __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
