I received my rebuilt Bosch injector pump and am ready to install it. The "throttle" levers on the two are different, though, in that the lever for the vanagon installation is configured to clear the engine hatch and its replacement has a quite different arrangement. I've taken off the "throttle" arm from the rebuilt unit and replace it, just to make sure I could wind the springs up and position it back the way it came off. Now i've got to think about removing the arm from my existing pump and installing it on the reman body. any words or warning or wisdom before I start? Thanks, Jim |
