I replaced the calipers on my 84 vanagon and bleed my brake lines (in the
wrong order it seems, I did front first, then back).  So, my test drive
through the neighborhood had my pedal going to the floor on the first pump
and then my brakes were firm.

Now, driving today (after doing nothing else), my brakes are firm and feel
great!  What could have happened?

I still plan to take off the back wheels and look at the adjustment of the
rear brakes and bleed the system again, but it doesn't make any sense.  I
was going to put in a new master cylinder too, but perhaps that won't
matter now.

Seems a bit odd doesn't it?
