Okay - so I just replaced my front heater core, and it removing the whole dash, the bolts holding my steering rack on to the underside of the dash that everyone warned me about were slotted. They had that cone head, but it was slotted so I just used a normal flathead and had no problems removing them or putting them back. Am I in any danger because I didn't use locktite or some sheer bolts (whatever they are..)?

Peace, Marla '87 Westy GL "Vana Morrison"
