You got it!

Since we're using a registered bookie, I'm assuming we'll be in Nevada.

I have a few conditions myself:

1) We use your van and I'm not responsible for any damage when I win (if I have a heart attack during the process and lose, I'll pay for any damages).

2) Any aftermarket anti-theft devices are prohibited.

3) I can use any tools I like... other than a tow truck.

Sounds like fun...

Cheers,

<< For the love of God.... if you take out the two shear-headed bolts, the bolt on the column bracket, and remove the steering wheel the whole column tube will slide off the shaft. Put some money on the table and I'll bet I can drive off with your Vanagon in under 3 minutes using the method described above. >>

OK, sport, I accept your conditions. No bullshit, now! I'll go at least $5K. My conditions: A no-show is a forfeit. We'll use a certified clock and a registered bookie. His end and the cost of the clock will be covered by the loser and will be separate from the action. The wager can be increased by mutual consent, P-mail me with your phone number so we can arrange a meeting.

George
