Both by 85 Westy and 90 Westy Syncro required the "standard" battery box modification to accommodate the

Optima Yellow Top.

Standard Mod = either notching the back rail or removing it entirely.

Why is yours different?

None, the battery lays on its side with the posts

facing toward the front of the van, reusing the stock

battery cables and hold-down bracket.
