In a message dated 10/23/2003 10:12:35 PM Eastern Daylight Time, LISTSERV@GERRY.VANAGON.COM writes: Today I spray cleaned the engine compartment. Mike, I pressure wash the engine compartment all the time on mine and and my customers vans. I do not take any precautions as to where the spray goes or how much or how long. If you found that water affected something then this is good as you can now find and fix the problem. Pressure washing the Vanagon engine and engine compartment should have no effect on any components. If it does, then there is a problem that needs to be repaired.
