Subject: engine for sale

Hello All, thanks for your info and words of wisdom so to speak with this problem. In case you don't remember I bought a 2.1L from an ebay seller and he sent me a 1.9L and refuses to take responsiblity for the mistake. He said if I'd pay shipping for the 1.9L back to him, he'd look around and see if he had a 2.1L and then I'd have to pay for shipping the motor back to me.

I've talked with a local attorney. He says basically since the guy I bought the engine from is so far away that it would cost more than what I paid for the engine to contest this and that I would be better off to just sell the engine and get the correct one.

So if anyone needs a 1.9L, which according to the seller - runs good, no leaks and was rebuilt within the last few years, contact me (573) 238-2143. I'd like to have $700 for it. If no one needs this then I guess I'll have my mechanic move the parts off of my 2.1L and install the 1.9L into my '87 Vanagon. Thanks, Anthony Bailey

Oh and btw the seller that I bought this from is... Paul Perko ebay alias munky butt <munkybutt92@yahoo.com> 1214 8th st se Minneapolis, Minnesota 55414

I'll post his phone number later as I don't have it with me at the moment

this is coming to you from Anthony Bailey KC0HZP (mailto:abailey@clas.net) Marble Hill, Missouri 63764
