Post Office... insurance... damaged goods....

Wasn't that a Seinfeld episode?

Cheers,

Jeff

Mark Damon et al. If the info is the same, that is the contact info you can request if you bid on an item, AND there is any proof at all of "shill" (not sheer) bidding then EbaY would very much like to hear about it.

You can file a fraud complaint with the District Attorney in his place of residence but first inquire of that DA office as to the proper procedures.

I have recently discovered yet another scam. One purchases an item, agrees to the contract including "insurance" on the item and pays the seller. The seller accepts the payment and the item never arrives. After much protest, the seller agrees to refund your price less shipping. Sounds fair at first glance. The item was shipped, right? Perhaps not to you. The shipment goes to his shill, the shill claims damaged goods by providing a suitably damaged item, and recovers the insurance. Yes it's postal fraud, can it be proven? Tough job. The item WAS damaged, it WAS insured the only gitcha is that it was damaged BEFORE it was packaged and the seller did it knowingly. Very hard to prove.

good luck, and of course caveats apply.
