Pat, What I found when testing mine was that the wiper track is very high resistance, with its intermediate voltages (not resistances) set by the voltage drops across a lower resistance voltage devider. This setup enables them to trim the voltage vs. angle slopes of various portions of the wiper travel. But it means you will not get what you expect from an ohm meter. But if you put 5, 9, 10, or 12v across the whole pot. and use a voltmeter, you should see the smooth V vs. angle response. Stan 87 syncro
