Most modern minivan-type vehicles seem to have very weak rear structures. I saw a rear-end accident between a Dodge Caravan and a Ford Bronco II with about a 3" lift. The Bronco's bumper missed the Caravan's and hit the rear hatch, pushing it in a few inches and shattering the rear window. Damage to the Bronco was limited to the fog lights being bent over.
