Actually, Pritschenwagen is generic for a truck. Both a single cab and double cab are Pritschenwagens. The word pritsche means pallet, so pritschenwagen is a vehicle that carries pallets.

Cheers,

Jeff

Pritsche is a shortened form of the German word Pritschenwagen, or what we would call Single Cab.

Take a look at http://www.fastforward.ca/Gallery/1003ADACSyncro.jpg to see what my Pritsche looked like before installing 29" Michelin XZL tires on it.

We're going to be doing some back country stuff with it this weekend - hopefully the snow won't be too much of a problem!

Hi David, What the heck is a Syncro Pritsche? I have seen references to it for a while now and curiosity has gotten the better of me. Sorry if you have already answered this question or posted pictures. Thanks, George '85 Westfalia
