Actually, Pritschenwagen is generic for a truck.  Both a single cab and
double cab are Pritschenwagens.  The word pritsche means pallet, so
pritschenwagen is a vehicle that carries pallets.

Pritsche is a shortened form of the German word Pritschenwagen, or what we
would call Single Cab.

what my Pritsche looked like before installing 29" Michelin XZL tires on it.

We're going to be doing some back country stuff with it this weekend -
hopefully the snow won't be too much of a problem!
