Good to see all the hard work, attention to detail and your love of the Vanagon get the recognition you so richly deserve. FYI, TJ set me on the path of installing Aluminum Valve Covers on my '87 WBX. Mine rarely look as clean as TJ's and my Mechanic thinks I have more money than brains (probably a true assertion) BUT..... I think the Aluminum adds to the cool factor of my Van. Further, they do not rust like the stamped steel OEM valve covers. Phil Z.
