Yes, but within the context of the discussion, we are talking beginning your inspection with 5 minutes review of notes, not what I would call an onerous task, particularly when that 5 minutes insures that you don't replace parts not needed and do replace all those due accurately. 5 minutes to record results of inspection, 5 minutes to review history as first step in next inspection. Result=no break downs and no wasted money. Invested=pennies for paper and very little time that saves time/money. You comments are ridiculous in this context.

Save time/money for camping. Reduce risk of failure at the campsite. Take notes and maintain by observations. Create a base of knowledge to improve decisions, or continue to guess and assume in ignorance.
