I got a rebuild from AVP. Their reputation is OK with an occasional misfire. Well, I got it. Engine used a quart of oil every 800 miles until about 20,000 miles when it finally went up to a quart every 2000 miles. Break in was done according to AVP's instructions.

Engine runs fine, no problems with the rebuild other than that oil deal. Nice people, good service.

Mike
