Subject: [For Sale]TIICO Engine + Rebuilt Syncro Tranny + BONUS!!!
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

Hi all, i'm selling a Tiico Engine for a syncro with around 20K miles on it plus a Newly Rebuilt Transmission with around 10K miles on it rebuilt by Weddle Engineering. And as a Bonus It's already installed in a 1987 Vanagaon Syncro!! = )

Here's the scoop: The Engine was installed by Volks Motorsports in Santa Cruz in late 2000. I think in late 2001/early 2002 I had the tranny sent off to Weddle and had that fully rebuilt. They replaced everything for the rebuild. It cost around 2500 and some where around 3300 for the entire job. The engine is strong and pretty nicely broken in.

The badstuff: There is some body damage to the van where the end of sliding door meets the right rear panel. (gf ran into a post at the gas station) It was estimated around 1100 by allstate. I never had it repaired due to financial reasons. There is some rust on the right rear side just above the rear wheel. It was bondo'd and painted over but the paint chipped when gf ran into pole. The REst of the body is in decent condition.

The wiring harness for the head lights need to be replaced as they are burnt on the plastic connectors. Had been using the highbeams. Need to get a new catalytic converter for it. It currently has a bypass pipe that replaces the cat installed on it.

The Flywheel for the starter needs to be replaced but I have already ordered it and will be installing when it gets in in 2-3 weeks.

Reason I want to sell right now is I'm not working right now and can't put in the money to really fix it up like it needs to be.

I've put around $13K atleast into this van between the engine install and tranny rebuild + minor repairs.

I could probably get $3K for teh engine and $1500-$2000 for the tranny if i wanted to part it out but I really don't want to.

If anyone is interested in this. drop me an email and put in an offer. Please no lowball offers.

The car is currently in San Francisco. Can send pics in the next day or so of the body damage.

Thanks. ki
