A while back I bought a larger panel from GI Joe. It is about three feet long and a foot and a half wide. It is One Amp and gives up to 21 volts in full sunlihgt. You can have connected full time, but for that you would want to get their relay that will make sure you don't overcharge your battery. It is $140 plus the regulator for $30. If you have more than one battery as I do, it is worth it if you are using the power a lot.
