at first it's constrictive...then after a while it becomes a part of
you...(lil' waynes world parody fer ya)...well...there is a purpose for this email.

my name is mike williams...i lived in my vanagon for 2 years (no bs) in mesa,
arizona...and hermosa beach, california...i have been an invisible list
member for about 1.5 years now...i used to write my stories of van-living in
phoenix arizona until my 84 westy decided it had had enough near 321 peir avenue in
hermosa beach where i lived on a hill in my westy for 6 months.  so...every
few days i would come into my mail...read what still seemed interesting, and
delete the rest.  now that i have very recently bought another 84 westy...i'm
going to have quite a few questions as i have already ripped out the whole
interior (to switch it out with my old westy's interior)...and i'm looking to bullet
proof my new bus from rust...noise...leaks...squeaks...and hopefully get rid
of those nasty vana-gremlins for at least a few miles.  this new bus has 130k
miles on it (much better than my van with 188k [of which i drove about 38k] ).
 i hope to be living back in my van by may of 04...giving me just about 7
months of cold weather to do nothing but work on my van, in between snowboarding
sessions and work at the home depot.  SO...here is the reason for this
babble...IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY RECCOMENDATIONS WHILE COMPLETELY RESTORING A
WESTY...PLEASE PMAIL OR EMAIL...ALL INPUT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.  thanks so much
