Subject: Re: Center Console....Want One?

My thoughts are:

1. The console should be located forward enough to still allow someone in the passenger seat to step between the seats and get into the back while traveling.

2. Cup holders a must, but should be somehow variable in size and deep enough to fit both the smaller cans...and also hold larger water bottles without falling over. One aftermarket plastic console I have has a sliding piece that accomodated different cup/bottle sizes...rather than just a hole.

3. Two extra twelve volt outlets please.

4. A bin for sunglasses with a lid.

5. A bin for a CD changer, also with a lid.

6. A "dished bin" for change...or one of those little sized change holders.

7. A thin pocket for maps...easy to get to.

8. I liked the subwoofer idea...if there's room.

9 Perhaps a place for a non-critical gauge or two...like a voltmeter for the auxiliary battery. I'll keep my engine gauges on top of the instrument cover.

Warren C.
