Has anyone ever considered or tried to install those large-flat-rectangular
Volvo headlights on a Vanagon?
I think they were on every Volvo in the early to mid 90's. I've never
measured one to see if it was possible.
I think they would look very good.


Also, I saw a brand new full-sized Ford van that had large flat headlights
(slightly V'd towards center) that looked like they'd fit the Vanagon,
although you'd need a custom grill. It might look pretty cool. I'm certainly
not a proponent to defacing VW's with US parts but I'm always looking for
little things that might update the look of the Vanagon.
