DOn't waste your time.   If they have sat for a long time you can expect
them to be slow, due to crud in the mechanical systems.  Once it is
run for some time, and the windshield has water on it they will
move much faster.   You can try pulling them all the way off the
windshield and running them like this for a few minutes.
