Who's got the the Mechanic's list and Bus Sightings

Hi All,

Robert here from NYC on vacation in LA for 10 days, traveled from LA, CA 4 hours to go camping near Lake Ida, near Bakersfield CA in sub 30 degree temps, froze in the tent but on the way back to LA on freeway I saw a couple of early 80 vanagonšs and one late model vangon.

In driving around LA, and near Topanga Canyon I must have counted about 14-17 buses and of that amount about 5 of them were mid-late model Vanagonšs in and around the LA areas.

Never got a chance to speak anyone about where they get the Vanagonšs worked on so I thought I might ask everyone here whošs in the LA, California area where the best mechanics are.

I am planning on making the cross country trip this summer from NYC to LA for a permanent move, advice for a local mechanic would be great.

Itšs a sunny 70 degree day here in LA.

Thanks, Robert
