You very well could be correct; ETKA is very confusing in this area. The "exploded" page of distributor parts for the MV engine is the same illustration as that for the CV engine, and clicking on the Hall Sender gives me a "part number unknown" in my version of ETKA. On the other hand, when I click on the Hall Sender on the "exploded" distributor parts page for the CV engine it seems to indicate to me that this also fits the later water-cooled distributors.
