Subject: Kumho tires...852 and 857? Or other suggestions for my 1983
              Westphalia.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I'm looking for tires for my 1983 Westphalia and reading in the archives I found a lot of mention of the Kumho 852. Unfortunately it's a tire that's hard to find and right now apparently the only city with any is Atlanta. I'm in Los Angeles and if anyone knows of any other sources would you please let me know. The Kumho 857 is touted as the replacement for the 852 but the pictures show a more conventional looking thred. Does anyone have experience with the 857...I'd like to hear about it. I might be able to order the 852 from Atlanta but the shipping would cost alot so I'm trying to find out if the 857 is good enough. The Kumho 857 is available locally, although my size, 205 R14 is in short supply in Los Angeles.

John
