Hello Bruce: I would have preferred to have handled this in private, but since you posted publicly via the List, I will reply likewise. You are obviously upset and/or offended by my post, and I really don't know why. I never claimed that Jim was attempting to be dishonest, his EuroVan was Junk, or his price was unreasonable. In fact, it *may be* a good deal, even with the Salvage Title. However, neither you nor Jim's Ad mentioned it, and I felt it was an important oversight that might affect the immediate decisions of interested listees. Jim told me about the Salvage Title when I asked, so perhaps "ye doth protest his innocence too much". If I had wanted to hurt Jim or his potential sale, I could have easily done so, by posting other details in a negative fashion. I have purchased several items from him at his house over the years, and have never publicly dissed him. If Jim is upset with me over this, I'll apologize TO HIM.

Regarding your other questions / comments: I don't have knowledge of any other salvaged vehicles in Central Texas; I don't recall ever being inside the van in question (other than sticking my head in, while looking it over on several occasions); and I have no idea what you know about this van, that I don't. You stated that I was "stepping in to something that really isn't very much of (my) business". You're right. I suppose that being employed by Jim, makes it more of yours?

Sincerely,

Cary
