I dug out my Bentley and looked at the wiring diagram, and the ECU controls a relay, which then switches power to the pump. If you have a Bentley, the diagram I"m looking at is on page 97.106, current track 31. I would check the fuel pump relay. See if it's getting power to its coil, and if so whether the contacts are passing 12v to the pump wiring. It's possible the bad pump burned out the relay contacts. I don't see a fuse for this circuit in the diagram; relay power seems to come directly from the battery via the alternator terminal. |
