the later vans had the pump in the tank, the early ones did not. Mine (81) was located on the floor of the cabinet under the sink. I'm am going to move it (some day) to the hidden space right aside the water tank, acess thru the cabinet just left of the fridge. This will hopefully cut down on the priming problem that I sometimes experience. John 81 Westy >>> From what I've read the water pump is submerged in the water tank. There is nothing inside my tank. There is an opening at the top, however. (Not the large screw-in cap, but a connection in the corner. Is this the site of a former pump or something else? Also, the drain cap on the bottom of the tank is missing. Anyone have a good source of a replacement?> |
