There is not a problem mounting a second tank. Many have done this. The same factory holes that mount the tank on the driver's side are there on the passenger side. Some other factory Camper conversions use the passenger side mounts instead so what is the big deal. Plumbing it in is the major consideration. Steve is no fool so I trust that he will do it safely.
