I just got a call from an acquaintance who is sitting at a Jeep dealership, probably the one in Cranberry Twp., PA, fairly upset that the trade-in value on her, beautiful Red Carat Vanagon is only $2000. She is willing to sell it for $3000 if she can do it NOW.

Long story short, this van was for sale earlier this year for $7500, supposedly immaculate, has recent Tiico conversion, meticulous owner. She and her husband purchased it for $6200 with the intent that their teen/college children would use it. For some unexplained reason, her daughter won't drive it and now they are getting a Jeep.

She doesn't want to go through the drawn out process of selling it herself, she just wants it gone at a more reasonable price.

My husband just yesterday brought me a "new" 91 Carat from Oklahoma (see previous post about "cold start"..sorry guys I never have had an automatic before). That brings our Vanagon count to three. I really can't take in another, but am terribly tempted.....

Call me at 724-816-3081 if interested, and I'll pass on your number to her.

Sandy Milo
