Subject: speedometer no move
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Good morning fellow VW repair people. I've gotten pretty good at estimating the speed of the blue 84 by the sound and the other traffic. I am on a mission to fix everything on at least one of my buses. So I have the speedometer out. I used a drill to spin it and the needle moves fine. Therefore my problem must be one of the cables, or the little gear box under the bus? Unless I hear some advice from you all, I think I'll jack up the front drivers side whell and spin it as I inspect the cables underneath. Is this the next step? Thanks.
