Quartz-halogen (QH) upgrade. You'll need a set of H4 units, round or rectangular. In addition, preferably, to a relay.

Xenon lights (HID or gas-discharge) isn't a simple change, as these use high voltages, nor is it cheap. Those blue lights you see in lots of cars are often just blue-coated QH bulbs, which are next to useless.
