While you are correct in that to many this is one way of clearing snow from the top of your vehicle, but please do not propagate this as an acceptable method. Not only is driving down the road with snow blowing off of your vehicle dangerous to the other drivers, it is rude, and in many areas a citable offense. Vanagons and other tall vehicles are more challenging to clear the snow from, but it is the operators responsibility to to clear the snow from all areas, not just the windows. For those that are altitudinally challenged a small stool and a snow rake works wonders. Take the time and do it right, the other drivers will appreciate it, and you may save someone from an accident.( OK, I admit that this subject is a winter driving peeve of mine)
