Subject: Electric Front Seat Heater
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed

I have never seen a van with the electric driver seat heater shown as an option in my 1990 vanagon owners manual. One day, just for fun, I checked with the local VW dealer to see if they could order the parts so I could retrofit one in my '90 synchro westy, but no parts were available. Has anyone ever owned a van with this option? I have owned other cars with heated front seats and they are great in the winter. Does anyone make an after market seat warmer?
