I'm no expert, but IMHO: The current has to flow through the coolant tank from electrode to electrode. Check the gizzmo that goes into the coolant tank, the one with the wires comming out of it. It may be covered with deposits. Also, the coolant has to be the right misture for the right amount of elect to flow. wrong mixture, wrong signal = blinking light.
