Subject:      Lubricant for rear shift linkage?

I am just about to replace the rubber boots
on the shift linkage on the side of
my manual transmission. At the moment
i cannot locate my repair manual to see what
bearing grease is specified to be packed
in the linkage. Someone know offhand?

Any tips before the job begins?
