Subject: 5000 trouble free miles on EJ22 conversion
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Had to go to the local steel emporium this morning and pick up some cold rolled flat bar. Gotta love a vehicle that will take 12' lengths of steel or lumber, fully inside the car... (-:

On the way there the Westy passed the 5000 mile mark since I completed the subaru EJ22 conversion.

Other than replacing a sluggish O2 sensor, I've not had to do anything to the motor other than oil and filter changes.

Totally lovin' it... the extra power is fabulous. And quieter too, which is a plus. No complaints or regrets about the conversion at all, other not having done it sooner...
