Jeez Larry, just because you have had a few minor engine problems does not mean that you can start calling the "Roadside Haus" a dog! Sorry, can't offer info on traveling with a dog to Mexico, last time we were ther we flew as it takes too long to get there from Anchorage in a Westy. We did however rent a VW Beetle while there. What part of Mexico are you headed to? We were in Cabo, La Paz, and Todos Santos.
