Amen to that!! Have 72 Westy weekender and a 80 Vanagon. Both compaired, the Westy has even more character then the Vanagon. I guess in the good? old days, they make cars for the look and not for the gas consumtion. Living in Canada I still like the aircooled more. Don't be a wimp, just wear a jacket.
