Jim.

No the superseeced door actuator as fitted to the T4 does not fit the Vanagon, or the rear hatch to be precise. I know for a fact, I have jsut gone through the process of explaining to VW Australia this very point. The newer unit has the harness actually plugging into the bottom of the unit and when done so it just wont fit onto the bracket fitted to the bottom rail of the rear hatch. I am not so sure with the front and sliding doors, maybe??

Are the door lock actuators for late model vanagon central locking systems the same, or unique to passenger/driver sides?

Thanks,

Jim
