Ok, stupid question peraps, but I need to ask it. I am going to the drive-in tomorrow night, and need to have the radio on to hear the movie. My 81 does not have an accessory position to turn on the radio, you have to turn the ignition on. What problems could be caused by having the key on for a few hours? Is wiring the radio directly to the battery the only safe way to do this? Thanks, Ed Maikranz Abilene, TX 81 Westy 78 Scirocco 71 Superbeetle
