I too thought the story lacked a real sense of what is reasonable and not.
Having the AC brackets fail would have caused them to feel that the honeymoon was a disaster... give me a break! Getting a ticket? Parking on the sandy beack close to the water and not catching on to why the others were not parked as close to the water??? DUH!. Not being prepared for cold weather? DUH!
I'm glad they are OK but I think they were lucky not unlucky that they weren't more seriously injured based on the poor decisions they made.
This couple was an accident waiting to happen and it happened!
