Good one! You're not kidding, are you.... Only affects the spare tire. Fatter tire (spare) needs more clearance around the hoses. Keep a 185 for a spare.

Hi folks, I'm researching a jump to 205/70 r14 from 185's. Both Bus Depot and Vanagain list different (and more expensive) coolant hoses if the larger tires are factory equiped. Is this a change I'll have to make if I go to the larger tires? -Matt Sutton 88GL
