Wes,

The last time I checked, the rebuild kits for the clutch M/C were about $25 at the local Kragen/Autozone type store.

I sell new German ATE Clutch Master Cylinders (251 721 401A) for $45.12, plus shipping.

For the $20 difference, I would definitely go with the new part.

Cheers,

Jeff www.vanagonparts.com

I've got a leaking clutch master cylinder ( I just changed the brake mc---it was leaking too). It looks like they're $50 on busdepot. Are there still rebuild kits available, and is that an option I should consider? Also, it looks like the Haynes manual has pretty straitforward instructions on this swap, but is there anything in particular I should watch out for?

Thanks! wes
