Hey All, Took a look at the number 2 temp sensor... it's within the bentley spec. So anyone on the list have any other obvious things to check that would cause a rich running condition during startup? To recap...the van will start with the first crank... but want's to stall. If i let it stall...it won't start for about 5 or 10 minutes. If i keep it running... it smokes... the smoke is from it running rich....i smelled it... and it smells like a rich running car. Once warm...no problems. I did move the ground wire that someone mounted on the crankcase breather tower to a better ground location. No help there.... so....any advice? thanks everyone, jesse 89 carat ps. anyone on the list on the east coast that has a good rebuild-able auto trans for an 89? PM me if so...thanks
